I’ve migrated to Australia from the UK, and I see peeps here wearing Balenciagas, Off White, Supreme, Nike, Stussy and Yeezy way more on average than home in the UK. Most people in the UK are on £8.20 an hour minimum wage trying to buy trainers at £130-£180 retail, which takes on average between 16hrs – 22hrs worth of wages. Let alone resale price. Out here your minimum wage is $24.00. with retail around $240-$320, which takes 10-13hrs worth of wages. The difference being that some people can afford to spend more wisely out here in Australia than the UK. You see a higher concentration in the CBD of people wearing in demand sneakers over here. Aye, the UK definitely have a huge demand for sneakers but we definitely aren’t “ahead”, we just horde so much and get more drops on average, same as the states. The population of the UK is 66.4 million compared to Australia at 24.1 million, the volume of people is considerably less, so you technically see less purchases per person. I’m sure people have more surplus cash and greater wealth here as well as more outlets that provide more designer brands. Coventry where I lived had “0” retail outlets to pick up higher end designer names, whereas I can think of 7 in a space of a 15 minute walk in Perth’s Central Business District in which you can get big names.

I love how much they’re hyping this restock when it’s literally only a restock in Asia and Australia and the majority of their followers are from the UK so they can’t even get them

Have a pair sat DS in the box they were always a grail for me so picked them up on last restock with yebras. Actually ended up rocking the yebras more but there still nice imo.
