To be honest I’ve been in the Sneaker Game since 2003/2004 and I’ve loved sneakers since the 90’s as kid. Being collector/reseller I love THE CULTURE of sneakers no matter Nike, Jordan, Adidas, Puma,Diadora, Pro Keds, Reebok etc. so I’m in LOVE with ALL BRANDS but as far Retroing the Yeezy that’s BIG NO! NO! Why? I mean think 🤔 about let’s say right in 2008/2009 You had a pair of AJ 3 2001 You were the MAN/WOMAN!!! Why? Because they were DS(DEADSTOCK) so if you ever decided to sell them Used/New you get some good Money for it. Fast Forward the last 10 years how many Jordan/Nike Re-Retro have they brought with the Jumpman or Nike Air Logo??? The 3’s, 4’s,5’s, 6’s, 11’s What happens to a 2001 AJ 11 Columbia vs 2013 AJ Legend Blue the 2001 value it drops NO??? I get that old J’s came with a Retro Card n Great Box and the new Ones well they trying to upgrade their quality. Look at it Flight Club NY the Originators of Reselling, now you got Stockx, GOAT, Stadium Goods, etc. The exclusivity and value of sneakers is LOST n GONE in my opinion.
Another Perfect example would be the rerelease of these Nike Dunk Low(Brazil, Samba Red, College Colorways, and the Champ Color)( I get that Travis Scott and Migos bringing it back but NIKE has run out of ideas 💡?) from the early 2000’s I’m not saying that’s not cool but why do that???? They were grails in the 2000’s whether people knew it or not, now Nike goes to the vault and brings them back 🤔🤔🤔
A pair of Nike Air Force 180 Union 2005 just sold for 1000 on eBay that I was looking at. The price is EXPENSIVE don’t get me wrong but 15 years in storage and it was a limited release at Union in L A someone like me in NY that was a 19 years old when those were released I have an opportunity to possibly buy them, whether I can afford or not or if they sell out before I get the chance to get them is another story. But I don’t like when Nike goes into the Vault and brings back DEADSTOCK Jordans or Nike. What they did with Jordan Brand was TOO MUCH in the 2010’s.
Giving deals to non-athletes that real don’t design or probably don’t care they just see Jordan and Check(with expectation of Virgil and Travis they have DOPE Shit, Not everything some stuff in my opinion)

It’s just his record label with on the shoes. I get it he’s trying to do what Jay Z did with the Rocafella AF1 but you’re NOT HOV!!! N OVO is certainly NOT ROCAFELLA at ALL!!!
Do I think 🤔 they should bring back the Nike Air Yeezy, NO!!! What do you think 🤔???

It was perfect for Adidas. It opened all doors for Adidas in North America and made Adidas a true competitor. I think Nike will eventually “recycle” the Air Yeezys like they do with all successful shoe lines.

Nike can’t give royalty for Kanye’s design. He put all the old nike design together call it his own.

big kanye fan but was never a fan of the air yeezy.. love what hes doing at adidas tho each new shoe feels like the future but also of the moment def feel like the switch was necessary

The air Yeezy is an incredible shoe, I can’t even put it into words. It’s phenomenal shoe. Lol AND he’s right, the Air Yeezy is one of the greatest shoes of all time. And it doesn’t matter how people feel about him that’s a fact.
