i remember he was pro Trump and against BLM, just to reduce his taxes, and when people exposed him, he faked to be mentally crazy for few weeks.

Kanye is a talented individual though sadly has been through some challenging mental health issues. I see a LV x Ye collaboration in the future, but do not see him in Virgil’s former role (may his soul rest) 🙏🏾❤️

Ye and Virgil were very close. Virgil produced a lot of the artwork and creative direction for Ye’s album covers and concerts; more recently for Ye’s Donda. Way back they also did an internship together at Fendi.

Their dream was always to pierce the glass ceiling of a top tier luxury brand. When Virgil was appointed as Creative Director for LV Mens it was a joyful moment for them both.

If LV do take a chance on Ye they know their profits would soar! Maybe for them any potential difficulties would be worth it.

I doubt they’d work with him. Like you, I know some stories. He calls at all hours of the night, scraps projects. he would call one of my friends who was drawing something for one of his projects at random times, day and night, rapidly changing his vision. He’s a LOT.

I personally have not seen anything Ye has created that has peaked my interest. I also don’t know that LVMH would like their stock price to move based on a Twitter rant or podcast interview. And if he has a collection that doesn’t sell well will he be on Twitter taking shots at Isabel Marant? He is a jealous person with an large ego. I feel like it would be too chaotic.
