Another interesting element stated by Adidas is the fact that they owns all the designs. Kanye went out crying that they stole his designs for the adilettes. Happens that they were fully entitled to do that. And Kanye, as smart as he is, knew that.

The confirmed app is of no use to me now. I too so many Ls even though I am at icon level 3 times over. I have bought so many Yeezys without another purchase for 2 years will still be icon. The annoying thing is I stopped getting Ws. Seems only new members are rewarded by the algorithm.
Now onto Kanye, there is a move to cancel him. I am not in support of any hate speech in any form to any tribe or race. I am vexed why did adidas take so long if things have deteriorated that bad. Also 🤬 wtf with daily restocks, EA and new releases of yeezy in the past 2 weeks huh 🤔? Adidas think we customers are fools or what. They knew they were going to drop him and should have gone ahead immediately yet they were trying to dump stock on us consumers. They only care about the bottom line. I am not fooled by their support against his speech or companies when they came out supporting BLM. It’s all about the bottom line, share price and profit.
If they did not drop him, adidas as a whole would have been cancelled.
When he made the tee which upset the BLM ✊🏿 movement, these companies didn’t do shit. When he said slavery is a choice nothing was done. Why act now??? This is just as vexing as all his recent comments. I think he’s a talented artist and business man, his personality that’s a different thing depending on his mood.

I did expect a reaction from any antisemite speech. It is wrong to categorize and group his hate against a race or religion. His fight is with some corporate individuals and the system. For most of what he was spewing he is wrong. He admitted this on the piers Morgan show. He did say he envies and wants to emulate some positive aspects of others business acumen. I think he is quite intelligent yet he needs to chill and suffering from diarrhea mouth.

Now onto the issue business Vs persona. Adidas share price is going way down following this. Yeezy has a monumental impact on their brand, and some spill over sales of adidas copy cat designs were due to yeezy hype. I am of the premise they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They have confirmed they will loose about €250 Q4 , and this is meant to be their busiest period of sales. There must be millions of yeezy stock that has to be offloaded. Are they going to burn them all? What a waste that would be. It 🤔 doesn’t make sense with cop26, ♻️ and their parley agenda. Waste not want not.
John Galliano did similar speech and was dropped by Dior swiftly. People still buy dior. The stove is hot now but I think it will simmer down and Yeezys will be highly sought after later. This is dependent on if he is given another chance otherwise things May continue to go downhill for him.
If they also reissue same designs without the yeezy brand, will they sell? Possibly at a mediocre level. The lack of hype will not equate similar sales volume under the yeezy brand. The demand has been lackluster by the way and ye Vs adidas had been going on since 2020 til now. He wanted to leave a while ago.

Furthermore I was thinking did he intentionally do all this to initiate termination of contracts. Partly feels like it. He can go 💯 percent solo now . Capital isn’t an issue for him, it the structure, production, distribution, marketing, R & D. He can come back big but without a partnership the scale will be minimal compared.

I do think there will be a downturn in sales for adidas following this especially GAP who might end up in bankruptcy. Imagine if that happened and Ye bought Gap at rock bottom. Oh well let’s see what happens next. For now he is too risky for companies to collab, he is unpredictable and companies do not tend to fare well with this kind of risk.

😳 online stores shock dropping yeezy its not down to them, I suspect it’s adidas allowing them to sell them indirectly because adidas strictly controls the sale.
I know of stores in the last two years got their license to release yeezy withdrawn because the shoe was on display or didn’t sell out. Yeezys cannot be sold be sneaker retailers without their approval. So I believe they might be dumping stock or flooding the market via 3rd parties. In that way cannot look to be supporting yeezy brand still.
