As an adult, you can do it to with a small alteration: you swing it in a twirl around your head and enter the arms during the twirl before you let it fall behind your head on your back

Works a treat with backpacks as well. Watch out for the ceiling and also whoever is behind you…….. Have also done this with scott packs (SCBA), but the instructors in the refresher classes don’t like it – citing injuries.
