Also I saw parts of the video multiple times trying to wrap my head around how you made the front panels, it’s like it’s witchcraft! How did you join the pieces at the top to continue in a single piece? Did you join one stich from the front of the pocket and one from the back into a single one and just kept going?

I loved this video. I watched the movie yesterday as some sort of assigned reading before this vid haha.

I think the Driver is the frog – he has the literal scorpion on his back the whole time. He’s too good-natured, by taking on the heist for Standard he takes the metaphorical scorpion (Nino & Bernie) on his back. The scorpion can’t help but sting (steal the $1M, send a hitman to Irene), and the frog can’t help but drown them both (he literally drowns Nino only to then get stabbed by Bernie, though he manages to stab Bernie back). I think he believed himself to be the scorpion the whole time, and maybe through the stabbing that he „won“ in the end, he has become it. His future does seem like it will contain more active violence.
