That is just the cutest jacket!……I need your HELP!….I’m making a jacket too….I chose a beautiful dusty rose crushed stretch velvet for the jacket……and it needs to be lined. I know that I won’t be able to use traditional lining because there is no GIVE to it…….I need a stretchy material to use for the lining…..what type of material would you suggest for this situation? So….I’m at a stand still……I don’t know what type of material to use in this situation. I have followed you for a long time and I know that you are THE MASTER of sewing clothing……please help…..I have no one else I can ask and I feel that your knowledge on sewing is professional and highly valuable……..TYIA……❤❤

The batting will relax after awhile , it won’t stay stiff.

So cute! Switching to the flannel made a huge difference in the look of your jacket. Thank you for showing the difference between using batting and flannel.
