Finally a set up video.. I did buy this tent and was hoping tnf would have made one. I have tried contacting them with questions myself but no answers. Makes me wonder about their customer service. Thanks for making this video. subbed

almost no info on this tent . Why North face doesn’t do a run through video for their tents is beyond me. Thanks for the vid !! As far as that top pole goes. I don’t think they would have put that heavier gauge black material at the crossing point unless they expected that 3rd short pole to ride over it. They would have left the pole sleeves completely yellow material. That black material is re-enforced to carry that third pole I believe. Also the fact that the two clips have that much play in them when the pole is run underneath make me 99% sure it should go over top.

The NF Bastion tent has the same type pole issue…people are confused..some put the pole over and then it broke….I spoke to a rep at NF and he said that pole goes under. It is a sad state of affairs when you have a major world wide company that sells products but doesn’t have a video or videos of expensive items like tents anywhere. Yet they have prima Donna athletes in Nepal with great expensive videos with their free endorsement equipment from NF. Typical horrible management we see today. NF should have paid you for the video…cheers
