Always brought a North Face sleeping bag when I was in the army. Use to swap out with the sleeping bags that we were issued with which were cr-p.

I hear ya, I rarely sleep on campouts with my boys…the most I’ve gotten I think is like 2 hours. I usually don’t pack the best sleeping bag though. One time, we were all so cold, that we got up at 1 in the morning, stashed our stuff in the back of the car, and left. I could go for the 20 degree one here. c/t
