You should really look into the 22L gen 2 model (Gen 1 was the original, rounded turtle-shell design). The 22L is superior in every way. It has a full internal frame vs the 02’s semi-frame (less rigidity and toughness). It has more organization features. It’s locks are also completely metal vs the 02’s plastic clip (which will eventually break, many have). It also can come in the 28L version that can hold more, but honestly is a bit bulky, comparatively. The Gen 2’s are discontinued, but can still be found on a few select stores. I would highly recommend looking into the 22L as a future backup.

I have the previous version. It seems the 2.0 has wider depth (side view). I did not like that the interior flexible pocket takes up space of the large deep pocket unlike the previous model where it is against the lid and out the way. The 2.0 tried to save on weight so it does not look rigid and strong as the previous model. Thanks to your video, I do not have to review one.

Great review! My only concern with the bag is stretching the elastic parts on the side with bigger objects like water bottles. I left in a 16oz water bottle for just few hours and noticed its already a bit loose. Other than that, fantastic back pack.
