Detailed review great job.. You may be interested to know Mobi Garden Outdoors from China make a Clone of the your model of the N.F. Mountain 25. Available from Aliexpress 133 USD. I have ordered one to try out.. Comes with a higher spec Waterproofing than North Face. And snow skirts as standard.. At that price nothing to loose. My budget 4 season choice is a Vango Nemesis 200 for around 100 pounds does a fine job in high winds, snow and rain.

you are spot on about manufacturers. The new revamped Mountain hardware tents for 2019 arn’t much different than the older versions. The old EV3 is back but they added 2 inches of width same tent but it is now selling for over $900 and they made it a horrible red and blue color…the new trango the same bad blue and red…they took the outer vestibule pole and put it inside a sleeve but that’s about it.

I have a Mountain 24, it’s the model before they brought out the 25. It’s symmetrical in that it doesn’t have one larger porch / vestibule. It’s a great tent, super quiet in the wind 🙂

What’s the difference between the Mountain 25 and the V.E.25? What is the INTERIOR HEIGHT? Can one still get the Himalayan?
