Soo i love the 500. But i didnt like how they did the original 500 highs with the neoprene rather than the mesh. These pairs did the mesh which is what i was looking for in a Yeezy 500. I do like the 500 Slate/Tryrian but i just feel like they arent complete without the mesh on them. I was able to get the Sumacs, Yeezy supply was shitting itself for over an hour so im surprised i was able to grab a pair when the website started working again.

I love the Sumac colors, i think i wouldve liked the tactical orange a bit more if it werent for the orange midsole and if it used a grey for the mud gaurd. The sumac really reminds me of those old Native American colors. It really has those colors from what youd see on old Cave/Stone art. The blue and the red combined with the browns, tans and greys on the sumacs was just really well done and unique. It really just flows well even though the color pallet is certainly out there. The deep reds, the navy blue, the light tan and bright browns combined with the washed out grey is just really fantastic.

Id assume thats where Kayne got inspo from, ancient native art.

I copped the tactile orange, I really fuck with them but I totally get why a lot of people don’t. That’s the beauty of the sneaker game though every now and then a shoe drops that you love and is still easy to get. Yeezy stays feeding niche markets and too me I think that’s a great thing.

I copped the sumacs cos there’s nothing else like them in the sneaker game. The tactile orange 500s are darker in colour featuring darker shades of brown in the midsection and a duller orange for the sole compared to the enflames.
