at first these look weird to me. but then i thought that was the same first impression that i got from the 500, 700, and foam runner. now i love those shoes. just need time to get used to it i guess

I’m not shocked a bit to see Ye and his team took these shoes to this level. It’s in a designer’s nature to push the boundaries of fashion as far as they can. And with all the hype Ye generates for his releases, this feels like a natural progression of style evolution…however awful they may be. Look at Margiela, and Balenceiga; they didn’t start off with those designs to the 10’s like the Triple S’ or the Hot Glue Gun joints. They started off with buzz, generated hype, then just went ape with it…this is just that all over again, nothing new. And it ain’t nothing new from Adidas either, they stay in the weird; Kerwin Frost, the majority of Alexander Wang, and to a lesser extent but still kinda weird Sean Wotherspoon. These and the Foam Runners were experiments to see if folk would still cop if they went way left with a Yeezy, and of course they still did. They can miss me with all this though, these joints are terrible. When it comes to Yeezys I’m only here for the 700s, 350s, and the 750s.
