I don’t like the “micro-trend hopping” term because after seeing all these, if you take staple pieces from different styles and implement your own twist and personality i think that’s just keeping up with the times especially if you’re comfortable and genuinely like the “trends” you’re participating in.

I like half-hopping on a trend, but adding my own style to it
I tried the “Totebag”core with a crossbody canvas bag instead of the tote bag, videogame graphic tees instead of a plain one, and replacing regular AF1’s with the AF1 Moment 37s, a canvas af1 with some blue metal and a double swoosh, and its been my favorite style to wear

As someone who has worn gorpcore brands since birth because of geography I just can’t believe they e become a trend. North Face Acteryx are stuff we wore in middle school, not because they looked nice but because if you didn’t you’d die from hypothermia. Same with bloke core I just can’t wrap my head around it.
Also I remember my parents buying my sister and I crocs before they were even popular to go to the pool. Time is truly a circle 😂 people are so unoriginal it’s insane

I will also die on the hill that stuff like headphones shouldn’t be allowed to become fashion pieces because they are purely pragmatic items. Shure IEMs or inEAR PROphile IEMs we better than any aesthetic headset but they look iffy and demand to actually understand the technology that goes behind high-fidelity audio ( high-res files, what a dac is, etc.)

from what i’ve heard jordan 1’s don’t have good comfort. It’s not the most uncomfortable jordan but not the most comfortable either.
