The writing was on the wall and adidas weighed the long term implications of terminating the contract effective immediately and made their decision. The ripple effect will be VAST and far reaching, based on one man’s actions. The first amendment protects your freedom of speech from acts of Congress (people seem to forget that fact), not from a business making sound decisions for themselves.

When they took action and why will be scrutinized and rightfully so, but even long time supporters gaining nothing monetarily from supporting him have reached breaking points.

Let this be a reminder, you’re free to behave any way you want, but it has consequences. He wanted OUT from adidas and now he’s out, will his dedicated following that feels he’s done or said no wrong keep afloat with what he does next? We shall all see.

Adidas has a lot of innovation creativity. They just need a new idea for collaborations. Adidas has a lot of original release silhouette in the past that has been reintroduce just like the forums . Maybe i’ll collab with adidas one day.

After reading the title, Janet Jackson strtd singing 🎶 That’s the Way Love Goes 🎶… First he needs to go holla at his lawyers who should have read the WHOLE contract. There’s so much to unpack in all these moments. Would love to see how future business courses will incorporates these Ye scenarios into their syllabus.

Doesn’t matter if they’re stopping payments for however long they will have to pay him. They took long because they didn’t want to breach their contract they made between them and Yeezy Inc. to suffer a loss and payout, like what is going to happen now. Adidas will have a pay/buy out to Yeezy Inc. for the remaining terms of the contractual agreement because of this termination which is a breach of contact. Because in business the contract was between Yeezy Inc (the entity) and Adidas not Ye/ Kanye West (the person/individual)

They won’t be able to stop anything payment wise Adidas is putting out a PR stunt. They gone have to pay Kanye. What they owe. We don’t know contract and once lawyers get involved.Adidas will be Reebok and up for sale by 2026

From what I know, they were already taking legal action against him when he ended his relationship with gap ( before the rants). This also goes to show you he did not believe in much of his product when he signed a contract that gives away most of his likeness, his brand, designs etc away. I think only a dummy at his stature would agree to the terms he agreed on
