Sorry but no.
The man makes the clothes, the clothes never make the man.
Nothing wrong with buttoning at least 2 buttons. Most of the time, you are taking your jacket off. That’s why you wear a vest also.
Buttoning 1 button is acceptable when you are keeping your jacket on while you are sitting down.
