The Milwaukee jackets work good. You just need to buy them tight. If your trying to layer up under them, you will never feel the heat.

I still have my first gen and it finally stopped heating this year. Ordering a new one this week. I use the zippered hoodie heated Milwaukee and has been AMAZING. After my first season with it I bought them for a couple family members and they have had great luck with them. I am in Colorado and all winter spend a good bit of time on the western slope (for context of use, IYKYK).
