I really don’t appreciate this type of video showing people how to resell, not this specific video because that’s like a collectible type piece of clothing so it doesn’t matter. But the ones of showing people what they find and thrift stores and how to look for good stuff, because I grew up poor, and thrift stores were like the regular store for me. Especially around back to school time for new clothes. So any nicer condition stuff was always a much needed break from the usual junk those stores have. But now it’s so competitive with reselling becoming a side hustle for everyone, instead of being able to find a good pair of shoes at the thrift store which someone’s kid or family member might need, now they won’t get because some acumbag has taken them to sell at a higher price for profit. Not to mention that once thrift stores see these videos, they start to raise their prices. It’s gotten absurd lately trying to find a deal at a thrift store because there is none. Thrift stores specially in my local area, have almost doubled their prices since the pandemic because they know resellers don’t care as long as they can make a profit so they’ll pay those higher prices.
