Really enjoying this series of videos Tamlyn. Great tips on interfacing and forming tape.
I’m swithering on the pocket flaps. Think it comes down to whether you like them as a design feature and will actually use the pockets x

Do you do block fusing? I like to do it if I have a lot of small pieces to interface. It seems to make things easier for me.

I always let my woven fusible interfacing g soak in very hot water for twenty minutes and the. Air dry. It does not damage the glue and pre-shrinks it. I used to do the same with the non woven fusible as well.

Great episodes. Such useful information even if you are not making the jacket. Just swapped to woven interfacing and it is so much better than the non- woven. Like you would not go back. Looking forward to all the episodes

Sometimes it can just be the quality of the fabric/dyes used as to why you get those lines. With Rainbow fabrics and other sellers online who are similar you never know where they’ve come most of the time, or how they’ve been made. They are cheap for a reason unfortunately so you never really know the quality. I’ve bought a so called viscose jersey from them to find it was 100% polyester. It was also on pound fabrics with the composition 😢
