Imo well tailored suit pants, similar jacket to video, white shirt and a black tie f.ex is a good look, but it’s obviously not something to rely on in a formal setting. More of like a semi business casual rockstar look.

First question should be:

“why are you wearing a black leather jacket?” not to say they shouldn’t be worn, but rather what is your purpose. It’s no good for rain to wear a short leather jacket, you’ll soak your trousers…

Function before form. Some people call suits “costumey” but wearing clothing divorced from reason just because you like the look of it (or what it symbolises) is the true essence of costume
