You mentioned on more than one occasion that the “structure” of the garment, ie, canvassing and/or lining, could impact the category a garment could fall into. That is categorically and unequivocally false. Suits can be, and occasionally are, completely unstructured. This is particularly true with Italian tailoring.

On the other hand, sports jackets can be, and often are, highly structured- fully canvassed and lined.

Suit jackets that do have that sheen on the fabric can double as blazers, but they only really “make it” as a blazer if they have some of the elements that make a jacket more casual- patch pockets, ticket pockets and the contrasting buttons, be they metal or mother of Pearl

white pants are big no no ,, they get dirty by just looking at them , just like white shirts , i only have 2 suites but both are from a quite matt finish ,both in dark gray one is pin stripe 3button so i can wear them easy as separates , i rarely wear full suite ,
